Air
Conditioner Pre-Cooling ::
In
extreme heat, many conventional air conditioners will be shut
down or will fail due to excessive ambient loads on the condensing
coil. Many engineers have attempted to solve this problem by spraying
the coil with water only to find out that this causes calcification
and deterioration of the coil. Calcification reduces the heat
transfer efficiency and increases operating costs in a more moderate
ambient temperature.

NDLE
offers standard packages for industrial, commercial and private
air conditioners to "pre-cool" the air without wetting
the coil as it enters the unit. By utilizing this package the
unit can operate more efficiently with an extended operating life.
Tests have shown that when the NDLE system is installed the EER
(Energy Efficiency Rating) of the units can be reduced by up to
55%. The power usage (in kW) can also be reduced by up to 33%
depending on the climatic conditions.

By
coupling the WATER FOG SYSTEM to temperature and humidity sensors,
the system comes on when the a/c unit is under extra heavy ambient
load. Experience has shown that the NDLEs pre-cooling system
is an energy saving device that can reduce electrical consumption
and not damage the condenser coils.
